  • Due to the ongoing pandemic, the statewide campaign on emergency preparedness include COVID 19 as an emergency and allowed community base org, like PUCDC to prioritize COVID 19 efforts.
  • To date, Pueblo Unido has conducted a total of 10,674 Emergency Preparedness Engagement.
  • As a regional coordinator for the Listos CA campaign, Pueblo Unido leads the Desert Regional Team that includes:
    • Todec Legal Center
    • Catholic Charities of Riverside and San Bernardino
    • The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition
    • Feeding America of Riverside and San Bernardino
    • Coachella Valley Disaster Preparedness Network
    • Sigma Beta Xi, Inc./Life lifters International
    • Community Access Center

Polanco Emergency Food Relief Program

  • A new collaborative program between Pueblo Unido CDC, Alianza CV, FIND Food Bank and Leadership Counsel.
  • Through the months of May and July, the program reached a total of 1,800 unduplicated residents (400 families) and distributed 1,966 boxes of produce and 1,848 boxes of food.

  • A Riverside County campaign in partnership with Reach Out to serve hard to reach communities that are more likely to be impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
  • Goal: To provide Coronavirus Communication & Outreach to educate all Riverside County residents and business owners to take public health precautions to stop the spread of COVID-19.
  • Since March 2020, Pueblo Unido has distributed approximately:
    • 25,0000 Disposable Face Mask
    • 3,000 Hand Sanitizer Bottles (16 oz)
    • 20,000 Face Shields
    • 4,000 Latex Gloves
    • 800 Reusable Face Mask
